Description
A pomegranate tree can take anywhere from 2 to 5 years to produce fruit, depending on whether it’s grown from seed or purchased as a nursery tree. Trees from hardwood cuttings can bear fruit in as little as two years, while those from seed may take three years or longer. A pomegranate tree is considered mature and will produce fruit consistently after about 5 years.
